Tag it Tuesday

This beautiful tag showcases a stunning ink lifting technique that might just surprise you—it was created using a stencil! By carefully layering ink and then lifting it in specific areas through a stencil, you can achieve a dimensional and intricate design that’s both eye-catching and elegant.
The vibrant colors used for this week’s tag come from Distress Oxide ink pads in the shades Picked Raspberry and Ripe Persimmon. These rich, playful colors blend beautifully, creating a dynamic and eye-catching base for the ink lifting technique used in this project.
While using the stencil to lift some of the ink color, an unexpected but beautiful effect occurred—it also picked up a hint of iridescent ink that was left on the stencil from another project. This subtle shimmer was from Solar Spray in Cross My Heart, and it added a delicate touch of magic to the tag’s design.

In the image above, you can clearly see the subtle iridescence that was left behind from the stencil. The shimmering effect adds a layer of depth and dimension to the tag, giving it a touch of elegance that catches the light beautifully.
