Technique using Alcohol

I recently watched a fine artist using a rubbing alcohol technique and was inspired to give it a try. And try I did—multiple times! While I did achieve a result, it wasn’t as pronounced as I had hoped. It’s a fascinating process, but I think I’ll need to experiment more to refine the effect and get closer to the look I envisioned.

To make use of my trial pieces for this week’s tag, I added some spray for extra depth, dotted on a bit of paint for texture, and finished it off by edging in ink. The layers came together beautifully, giving the tag a unique and artistic feel!

To finish off the tag, I added gold stickers from the Dollar Tree.
