Recently, I was experimenting with ironing plastic wrap and how it might work with crafting. Originally I wanted to see if it would work as a substitute for adhesives. I didn’t find it to be very successful, but what I did find was that is a great cover for ink-jet printouts.
Materials:
- Ink-jet printer printouts
- Plastic wrap
- iron (dedicated to crafting)
- parchment paper
- scissors
The images I am working with are from a digital set available in the store called Ocean Papers.

I really like how the plastic wrap enhanced the color of my printouts. A little bit of stability is also gained. Now to craft with them! I am thinking of making a journal and using these as covers.
