Gelatos Blended Tag

A dreamy blend made with gelatos.

Going for a sky-inspired look, I blended Gelatos to create a soft, dreamy background. To add depth, I layered on some dimensional cloud shapes that really make the scene pop. I finished the tag with a touch of coordinating ribbon, pulling everything together beautifully. The result is a tag that truly captures the feeling of a dream floating across the sky.

The image above show some of the materials I used. I was inspired by the visible image stamp.

Here you can see the detail of the clouds, their texture and drawn elements along with the gelatos blending.

Using Gelatos with a Stencil

Inspired by a sweet gift of Gelatos, I created this colorful tag using a stencil and creamy pigment magic!

Thanks to a dear friend (Lolly) who gifted me a variety of Gelatos, I was inspired to create this vibrant tag using a combination of Gelato pigments and a stencil. The creamy colors blended beautifully, adding soft texture and depth, while the stencil helped bring structure and detail to the design. It’s always amazing how the right supplies—and a thoughtful friend—can spark creative energy!

The beautiful butterfly sticker was found at the Dollar Tree. I also wanted to point out the sentiment. I covered cardstock with packing tape to get the glass-like look before die cutting.

Tag it Tuesday with Gelatos

This week’s Tag it Tuesday uses Gelatos in two different techniques. Gelatos are a smooth soft crayon-like product that can mix with water and blend easily with or without water. I added some plastic netting for texture (that photographs oddly) and a simple piece of ephemera to finish off the tag.

In the detailed photo above, you can see the plastic netting a bit better and the dimension it created. The tag this week was pretty simple and quick to make but I am happy with the result.
