As I sat there, admiring my colorful calendar image for the month of February, I couldn’t help but feel inspired. The vibrant hues and playful design gave me an idea. Why not turn this into a one-of-a-kind, personalized greeting card for a loved one? With a few adjustments, I was able to create a beautiful, unique piece that was sure to brighten someone’s day.

Materials Used:

purple cardstock
white cardstock
February Calendar Image – free printable
velum
die cut and machine
various adhesives
paper trimmer
rhinestone gems

The February calendar image was colored using mostly pencils from Staedtler and fineliners from Stabilo.

Clover Ephemera Cards

These historical cards all contain clovers for St. Patrick’s Day. The text has been removed from them making them more generic and versatile for crafting. They are great for collages, mixed media, junk journals, glue books, and more.

St. Patrick used a clover to explain the Holy Trinity of Christianity, which is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Shamrocks have three petals whereas four-leaf clovers have four. Finding a four-leaf clover is considered lucky because your chances of finding one with four leaves are about 1 in 10,000. Both versions are associated with the St. Patrick’s Day holiday.

Do you prefer to make your own cleaning supplies? Consider printing out these labels and grab a few spray bottles from the dollar store. Each label contains its own DIY recipe. If you want to make them all, you’ll need eight spray bottles, one 3 oz bottle (poop spray), and one condiment squirt bottle (toilet cleaner). The ingredients are simple and easily found as well. They include things you probably already have like vinegar, water, hydrogen peroxide, and a few others.

The best part about making your own cleaning fluids is that you know the ingredients, and they cost a ton less than the store-bought brands.

Diamond Painting Chart

Have you ever wondered about the color chart used for diamond painting? The colors assigned to the drills are referred to as DMC. You might be familiar with DMC in relation to embroidery thread. It is the same color chart.

DMC (Dollfus-Mieg and Company) is a French textile company created in 1746. There are 447 different DMC numbers, meaning that there are 447 differently colored diamonds available to use when diamond painting. Any leftover drills can be combined with others from different projects if the numbers are the same.

2023 Printable Calendar

Happy New Year! This year I have created a printable calendar in two sizes. Each month has an adult coloring image at the top. These are beautiful as is or as colored. Print them out and come color with me.

8.5″ x 11″ pages [full page calendar]

5.5″ x 8.5″ pages [half-page calendar]

Each download is a zipped file and includes all 12 months of PDF prints. The half-page calendar has two months on each page, making it easier to print. Other than size, each calendar contains the same images.

I wanted to give you a free file to try before you spend any money on the other sets that are available in the shop. Download the file, print it out, and see how it works for you. I’d love to see and hear about your experience. The file has two pages. The first page is the collaged image above, the second page is a solid red and white Japanese wave pattern to print on the reverse side of the collage.

The Japanese symbol on the left is Love. You might also recognize, koi fish, bamboo, Japanese kimono fabric, Mt. Fujiyama, and cherry tree blossoms.
