I am sharing printable PDF files on how to make these Wash and Scrub Sets. While shown here in the bath, they can also work for cleaning in the kitchen making them very versatile and usable.

I am using Dishie Worsted Weight Yarn from Knit Picks. This is a 100% cotton yarn with a tight spin and high absorbency.

This project is a part of the Spring Into Summer Blog Hop where you can get a free PDF pattern each day for 33 different patterns.

scrubbies

The first pattern is for these circular scrubbies. They are double sided but you can opt to only make them single-sided if you don’t want them to be as thick.

I love these for washing my face and removing make-up.

nubbly cloth

The next pattern in the set is a nubby cloth. These can be made with or without the border.

This is one of my favorite patterns to make. It is a pattern I often make while traveling as a passenger on road trips.

I’d love to know which pattern is your favorite and how you use them. ~ Enjoy!

Making a Christmas Present for your Cat

I am participating in a round-up of Christmas in July posts. I am sharing a post for an animal gift, specifically for our new kittens. This fish is sewn, stuffed, and filled with catnip. The fabric is also painted using Marabu fabric sprays.  Of course, I had to give it to them now in order to share this post, they took a minute to warm up to it but they love it.

Mini Embroidery Pattern for a Card

Today I have a post on the ScraPerfect blog sharing how to make faux foam tape. The card above uses it to lift the sentiment up from the card. The card also includes a mini embroidery piece.

Here is the rough sketch for the embroidery work. You can download a PDF pattern with stitches indicated by clicking on the image above.

The french knots and flower petals use 6 strand embroidery thread, all other stitches use 2 strands.
