An easy way to create an elegant texture using Lunar Paste.

finished card

There are so many ways to create with Lunar Paste, but this might just be the simplest technique for achieving an elegant texture. The paste spreads smoothly, and as it dries, it reveals a beautiful texture that catches the light perfectly. Whether you’re working on tags, cards, or mixed media, this straightforward approach makes it easy to enhance your designs with a luxurious finish.

For this application there is nothing else needed to use with Lunar Paste, all you need is your finger.

card parts

After the paste dries, it becomes a versatile element that can be incorporated into various craft projects. Its textured surface adds depth and interest, making it perfect for layering. I used mine to create a card, letting the shimmering texture serve as a stunning background. Paired with a few simple embellishments and coordinating colors, the paste’s elegance truly shines, elevating the overall design. It’s a wonderful way to add a professional, polished touch to handmade creations.

close up

Here’s a close-up of the Lunar Paste application, where you can really appreciate the beautiful effect it creates. The black cardstock underneath subtly shows through the paste, enhancing the overall design with added depth and contrast. This interplay between the shimmer of the paste and the dark background adds a dramatic, yet elegant, touch that makes the texture stand out even more. It’s a simple technique with stunning results!

with necklace

To complement the card, I paired it with a necklace I made using resin, showcasing another creative application. The colors of the resin necklace beautifully coordinate with the tones of the Lunar Paste, tying the two elements together seamlessly. The glossy finish of the resin contrasts elegantly with the textured shimmer of the paste, creating a cohesive and eye-catching combination. This pairing not only highlights the versatility of these materials but also adds a personal and unique touch to the project.
