Making Embossed Earrings with Maker’s Movement

I absolutely love the detail in these earrings. I wasn’t sure if I could emboss faux leather but I gave it a try and it turned out fabulously! I stamped an image onto the faux leather, applied embossing powder, and then heat set it. I was really impressed! I actually ended up making two pairs of earrings. Check out the how-to video below.

Learn to Make Easy Fashion Earrings

Learn how to make these easy fashion earrings using the new Mini Maker from Maker’s Movement. I love their earring dies, making jewelry is so easy using them. There are a variety of different sizes but today I am using the teardrop die that comes with the Mini Maker. In fact, all materials except my pliers and paint pen came from Maker’s Movement.

This is the new die cutting machine, the Mini Maker. It is a perfect size to sit on your desktop.

I gave this pair of earrings to my daughter to go with a red dress she just bought. So, now I need to make myself a pair. Thankfully it takes little time and is very easy to do!

How to Bead Faux Leather Earrings with Maker’s Movement

Today I am sharing a video tutorial for making a pair of faux leather die-cut earrings. These earrings are beaded after die-cutting the faux leather. I like how the beads dangle down below the edge of the faux leather. You can start with the dies from the Maker’s Movement and then decorate them in so many different ways. I can’t wait to try another version of them soon.
