Making a Party Hat with Cut Cardstock

As a part of the Cut Cardstock design team, I have a post on their blog today making a star party hat. This hat file is very flexible. You can make it with the stars, or without. You can leave the star shapes open or layer tissue paper on the inside to color the stars.

The card stock I used (affiliate links):

Cutting 100# card stock on the Maker, I found it best to cut it twice at the 100# card stock setting and selecting more pressure.

Happy New Year Card

Making a New Year card with Cut Cardstock.

Today I have a post on the Cut Cardstock blog making this Happy New Year Champagne Bottle Card. It can also be used as a table decoration.

I cut all the parts for this card on a Cricut Maker.

heat gun (optional)

Once you click on the link, a new window will open with the image displayed, right-click the image and save as an SVG.

Don’t forget to make sure the red lines are set to score before you cut.

Once the image opens in a new window, right-click and save as an SVG.

Don’t forget to set the red line to score on the base of the card before cutting.
