printer

My go-to printer brand for years has been HP. I also use their ink supply service where I pay a monthly fee and they send me ink cartridges as needed. It comes out to be a lot less money this way. The HP Envy Inspire is a great-priced machine that will produce beautiful prints.

paper

If you are looking for a great crafting-weight paper for printables, I have been using HP Project Paper. It is heavier than copier paper but not quite as heavy as cardstock. It is a great medium weight for layering, folding, and more!

Suggested Uses:

Print the design on cardstock and trim it to size. For an extra pop, add a coordinating colored layer behind the image, then adhere it to a card base for a polished, finished look.

• For added dimension, print the image twice, then fussy cut elements from the second print and layer them on top of the card front using foam tape or adhesive—it’s a simple way to give your card extra depth and interest.

• You can also resize the images using your printer settings to create smaller versions—perfect for using as ephemera, journaling cards, or embellishments in your paper crafting projects.

• Add a sentiment to personalize your card—whether it’s a stamped greeting, a die-cut phrase, or a handwritten note, it’s the perfect finishing touch to make your card truly unique.
