I recently stumbled upon a new-to-me technique using alcohol pearl inks, and I’m absolutely in love with the results! Applying alcohol pearl ink on embossed cardstock creates a stunningly unique effect, adding depth, shimmer, and texture in a way that truly stands out. Can’t wait to experiment more with this!

I was experimenting with embossed foil tape and alcohol pearl ink when I flipped it over and discovered the magic! The results were stunning. I recommend using two coordinating ink colors for the best effect, and don’t forget—you must use alcohol blending solution with the pearls to get that perfect shimmer and blend!

The different results shown above progress from cardstock, to debossed foil tape, and finally to embossed foil tape. Each surface creates a unique effect, showcasing the versatility of alcohol pearl inks!

Here are the results in blue! The first strip is debossed and was my initial attempt. The second example is on cardstock, while the final one showcases plain alcohol ink on debossed foil tape.
