Making Winter Cards

with CutCardStock

Using Stardream cardstock and one cut file, I created two cards. The cutting file has a variety of different ways to use the parts. A band with snowflakes knocked out, the snowflakes, and three words.

The card stock used for this project was Stardream Metallic in Eris and Stardream Metallic in Lapis Lazuli. CutCardStock has a ton of different colors of Stardream to choose from, they are all just beautiful and my favorite cardstock from CutCardStock.

These are the parts cut for this project. After I designed the band and was cutting it out, I realized that the negative parts could also be used.

Cricut Maker

I cut the cardstock on my Cricut Maker. The Lapus Lazuli is 105 lb cardstock so I cut it using a setting of 100 lb and cut it twice. To do so, after the first cut, don’t remove the mat and push the start button again for a double cut.

A bit of glue and two different cards were made in no time at all.
