with Makers Movement

For Valentine’s Day, I am making a sweet rose card using a die and paper from Makers Movement. The paper pack is so colorful and the rose die is very versatile. I cut a lot of roses and ended up using only one for this card so I have more to work with.
Many of the items I use in posts are provided by the manufacturers to promote their products.
A special thanks to those brands who sponsor this site. Some links are affiliates, thank you for using them.

The rose dies cut really well with the CrossOver II. The die provides the inside and the outline of the flowers so there are many ways to use the parts. I chose to work with two colors of pink inset together but the outline of the rose is beautiful on it’s own as well.

Above are all the pieces I used to make the card. Everything is cut and ready to put together. The video tutorial below shares a special tip for keeping the pieces together from the die using washi tape. Let me tell you, without this tip, trying to piece them together isn’t as fun as you might think.

A close-up of the card shows the layers of cardstock and the raised sentiment in the upper corner of the card.
