Make an Easy Paper Scrap Tag

Tag it Tuesday

I recently made a set of artist trading cards using a large mixed media sheet I created. Once I cut them down to size, I just couldn’t throw away the leftover bits—they were too pretty! So I gathered up the scraps and pieced them together to create this week’s tag. It’s amazing what you can make from what’s left behind!

The leftover scraps were mostly long strips, which made it easy to piece them together. Once the background was done, I simply cut out a tag shape and topped it off with a coordinating ribbon.

In this close up image you can see the strips and layers of different materials that were used from book pages to printed tissue paper.
