Etching with etchall® creme is always a fun way to experiment. This month, I tried something new by etching a coloredvase. The result was stunning — the etching creme removed the surface color, revealing a crisp, clear design that really stands out!

I cut the design using my Cricut Maker and carefully weeded it. After positioning it on the vase, I made sure it was firmly attached and sealed around the edges so it would be ready for the etchall® creme application.

I created this design, and you can get the free image in the store section of this site: [Summer SVG]

With the vinyl design securely in place, I applied the etchall® creme. It works in just 15 minutes and is reusable—so once the etching was done, I carefully returned the creme to the jar. Then, I rinsed the vase under water and peeled off the vinyl to reveal the etched design.

The etching creme removed the color from the glass beautifully. It worked really well—except for the ‘r’ in ‘Summer,’ which didn’t come out as clearly. I’m not sure what happened there, but overall, I’m thrilled with the result. The design is crisp, clear, and really stands out!
