Kind Bars :: Review

I was sent a variety of Kind bars for review. The first thing I noticed was the packaging, you could see the actual product through the wrapping and you could see a lot of it! I also noticed there were whole nuts, not small pieces.

My husband tried the blueberry and nut variety. He said it was good and the blueberries added a different but nice flavor not found in other bars. I am not a fan of blueberries but I would like to try any one of the following flavors: Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt, Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan, Madagascar Vanilla Almond, Cashew & Ginger Spice, Dark Chocolate Chili Almond and Maple Glazed Pecan & Sea Salt.

Not only is Kind a healthy snack but they promote the idea of being kind. Read the following and then visit the Kind website to see what else they are involved in.

Thousands of homes destroyed. Millions of lives changed forever. The crazy part? Hurricane Sandy was almost one year ago and lives are still being affected today.

Knowing this, KIND Healthy Snacks has teamed up with clean water organization, Waves for Water to gut and rebuild a NJ-based volunteer firefighter's home, which had been completely destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Through its 'Do the KIND Thing Mission", KIND was able to donate their time and $10,000 to the restoration.

While $10,000 will help, KIND is looking to the community to get involved by sharing this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDiqDroySB4) video (highlighting the work of Waves for Water) to help shed light on the destitution that so many people are still living in due to Sandy. The best part? Every view = $1 more towards this firefighter's home.

You can read more about this story on our blog here (http://www.kindsnacks.com/dtkt/do-the-kind-thing-with-w4w-rebuild-a-firefighters-home/)

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
