I created button flowers using a bag of spring-colored buttons from Gwen Studios. To complete the project, I used a glass bottle as a vase, along with aluminum wire and flat nose pliers. This is a wonderful craft for spring décor, a thoughtful Mother’s Day gift, or a special handmade surprise for someone you love.

This project was created for Gwen Studios. You can find all the design team projects listed on the Designer Crafts Connection website. Gwen Studios products can be found at Walmart and Michaels.

I cut 9 lengths of wire to 12″ long.

I paired together different colors of buttons to create the flowers. These can be stacks of 2 or 3 buttons.

Once done with the flowers, I added a teal colored gross grain ribbon from Gwen Studios to the vase.

Here’s the finished project! I love how the button colors complement each other and tie in beautifully with the ribbon.
