Freebie Friday

antique cars

This week’s freebie is a set of Antique Cars. They are great for print and cut or print and color. Don’t forget you can change the size in your printer’s dialog box. I would love to hear and see how you use them if you grab them.

My go-to printer brand for years has been HP. I also use their ink supply service where I pay a monthly fee and they send me ink cartridges as needed. It comes out to be a lot less money this way. The HP Envy Inspire is a great-priced machine that will produce beautiful prints.

If you are looking for a great crafting-weight paper for printables, I have been using HP Project Paper. It is heavier than copier paper but not quite as heavy as cardstock. It is a great medium weight for layering, folding, and more!

Metal Craft Tags: Easy Diy Tutorial

How to use a recycled can to make tags.

metal tags

These colorful metal tags were made from recycling soda cans. I had used the cans in another project and had some metal left over that was already colored with alcohol ink. First stamping on the surface and then die-cutting the aluminum was quick and easy.

materials

Links to the materials used are listed at the bottom of this post. The dies are from the Spellbinders 2023 Advent Calendar.

Quick and Easy Dinner

We found a quick and easy dinner solution.

with Just Meats

Just Meats is a delivery program that offers fully cooked, heat-and-eat options and provides a convenient solution for busy individuals and families looking for a hassle-free meal. The Just Meats packages come to your door frozen making it easy to put them right into the freezer. Tonight we tried out the Hawaiian Shredded Pork and made sliders.

The links provided are for your use and may contain affiliate links.
They cost nothing for you to use.
Thank you in advance for supporting this site with its use.

cooking pork

The Just Meats packages say to thaw in the fridge overnight. I chose to thaw the meat in the microwave and then heat it in a skillet as directed. I added a little water to the pan and placed the lid on to “steam” it.

The sauce is also frozen so I ran hot water over the package until the contents melted. Then I added it to the meat in the skillet.

rolls

While the meat was heating, I placed Sister Schubert’s dinner rolls in the oven.

sliders

In less than 30 minutes, I had dinner ready. The longest time was taken by heating the rolls!

The family raved about them. We didn’t have any leftovers!
