The Best Die-Cutting Machine

I am happy to now own a Crossover II die cutting machine. Thanks to Maker’s Movement for providing me with the machine and a variety of tools and dies. I will be posting tutorials each month here on Try it – Like it – Create it using the Crossover II. My main reason for wanting the machine was that the die cutting machine I was using is no longer being made so it was difficult to continue to show it in tutorials and videos. While at Creativation this year, I searched for a die cutting machine that could replace my old machine. Speaking with designer friends as well as PMA (the makers of the Crossover II) I was thankful to find out that we could work together.

A few things I find really great about the Crossover II:

  1. It is a sturdy machine.
  2. The rollers are made from steel, adding to the weight and longevity of the machine.
  3. You can adjust the distance between the rollers with the use of an easy dial.
  4. You can use a variety of different brands of dies in the Crossover II.
  5. The machine folds up for storage, saving space.
  6. The plates don’t warp. (but you can buy extras if needed)
  7. Crossover II has a large variety of materials it can cut.
  8. The Crossover II can cut an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper. (no need to trim down your paper)
