A Warehouse of Digital Finds

Are you familiar with Design Bundles? They are an online warehouse for all kinds of digital files. You can find digital papers, graphics, templates, fonts, and more. I was happy to be asked to write about their designs.

My favorite sections have to be the free for you today section. You enter your email address and they send you a link to download the freebie. As I visited today, it was a page full of sloth illustrations. Another great section is the dollar spot. Who doesn’t love a deal for a dollar! It appears this is something new to the site. From what I can tell they have a variety of fonts available for a dollar. They are offered for a limited time and only so many of each font is available so you want to be quick to the draw.

If you are a designer you can create your own store and sell your digital designs through Design Bundles. This is a great opportunity to earn money without having to set up a storefront on your own website. Design Bundles houses everything for you and takes care of the sales. I am not sure of the percentage they keep but it is something to look into if you design digital content.

For the digital scrapbooker, Design Bundles is a great resource for scrapbook design. You’ll find templates for your scrapbooking layouts, a variety of fonts to fit your design, digital background papers, and digital illustrations to place on your page.

Other sites affiliated with Design Bundles are the Theme Planet and Font Bundles. Both are great resources for digital content. Theme Planet has free and paid templates for web design. Font Bundles, of course, has fonts. You can find free fonts, paid fonts, and a dollar deal section.

A feature I know many will be happy to explore is the monogram maker. It is a free online program to make monograms. You choose your font, frame, and background. You can edit the size, placement, and color of the elements. Then you download your creation.

Design Bundles is such a rich site. I clicked on their design school section and found all kinds of tutorials I can’t wait to go deeper into. If you are looking for cutting machine tutorials, they have them for Cricut, Silhouette, and Scan and Cut. If you are looking for software tutorials, you can find them there as well. I know Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop tutorials will be popular. There are tutorials for Canva and Inkscape too. And if you are in need of instruction on your machines, they have tutorials for Mac, PC, and iPad.

If you find you are purchasing a lot from Design Bundles, they have a Plus Membership. You can join for a monthly fee. There are three different levels of membership. Each membership comes with varying options. It appears to work on a credit system and you purchase fonts with your credit. As I said, if you are purchasing a lot from Design Bundles, this seems to be a good option.

No matter what you are in the market for digitally, it would be a good idea to sign up for Design Bundles mailing list to keep on top of daily deals, freebies, and specials.
